Material Test From The Field.
Last weekend I took the guzzler model you sent me, and filled it up with water and froze it solid.
Two days later I took it out of the freezer and dropped it on the concrete floor from head level.
The ice shattered into a million pieces but no cracks or damage to the model.
While it was still cold I took a 2# sledge hammer to it.
You can not even see any scuff marks where I hit it. (I'm impressed)
I do believe your tank will survive anything mother nature or animals can throw at it.
We agree that fiberglass would have never survived, that test. (Engineer)

Limited Lifetime Material Warranty
You will find the Oasis Wildlife Guzzler to be a very durable able alternative to standard fiberglass units. It will withstand repeated freezing temperatures and exposure to sun. Betta Products will warrantee the Oasis Guzzler against cracking and breaking under normal conditions of its intended use as a Upland Bird Guzzler. Normal use will include in-ground installation as indicated in Installation literature. If for some reason the Oasis Guzzler becomes materially defective, it will be replaced or repaired by Betta Products at no charge. (does not include shipping or installation costs)

While the Oasis Guzzler is very durable, please note that it is designed for upland birds and small game.  It is not structurally designed to be used for larger wildlife such as deer, sheep, cattle, etc. Damage incurred by large mammals can not be covered by material warranty.

Repair Tips

Repair to the guzzler is easy.  We recommend an adhesive caulk called LEXEL. It's available at most any hardware, paint or glass shop.

SMALL HOLES
For small holes simply apply LEXEL and let it dry.  It will permanently seal and set up within 48 hours. This will work even on wet surfaces but it is best to remove water.

LARGER HOLES
If you happen to get a larger hole or even a split, it can be repaired with a piece of polyethylene attached with LEXEL.   Contact us and we will send you an appropriate piece of polyethylene.

If it's necessary to bend the polyethylene to fit around a corner, simply take a propane torch and heat the plastic until it bends to the shape you want.  Then cut it to shape and glue it on with LEXCEL.
  It's that simple.
